The battery life for this mouse is absolutely amazing! I have charged the mouse one time so far. I have had the mouse for about 3 weeks and the batter is still not dead from the FIRST charge and seeing how I use it every day that is just amazing in my book.
This mouse is optical and is very precise! I have had many problems with previous mice which I have not had with this one.
