This mouse was a replacement for a Logitech that I loved, but the usb receiver broke and I had to get something new.
The mouse won't work if the receiver is more than about 12 inches away - if I use the usb port on the opposite side of the computer it has a hard time connecting! Really!?
The mouse won't work on many surfaces. I used the Logitech on the arm of the couch, on my jeans, on the table, on a piece of paper. The Microsoft mouse can't work in any of those places. It seems it has to be a mouse pad - what is the effing point of that for a NOTEBOOK mouse? I don't want to have to carry a mouse pad with me!
Several times I have wanted to throw this thing across the room. I usually just use the touchpad instead. I'm going to buy a Logitech as soon as I have the money.
