I think this mouse was purchased for me as a joke and I am surprised to admit, therefore, that I like it. I have always preferred large mice that my entire hand can rest on so I was fairly certain this quite small mouse would be unacceptable. However, it is just fine and I have no trouble, even enjoy, using it. I just control it with my fingers rather than my hand. Clicking feels good even for the scroll wheel button.
As other reviewers have said, the mouse pad it comes with is extremely cheap and actually prevents the mouse from tracking accurately. However, the mouse tracks quite well on other surfaces I have tried and I just put the Saitek mouse pad aside. But I did deduct one star for the useless mouse pad.
From my perspective the decorations all over the mouse and the blue and red glowing lights would not have been my first choice for appearance. I suppose the mouse was designed for young people who might get off on the appearance and appreciate the small size. Despite all this, however, I now prefer this mouse to others I own and I will probably keep using it as long as it continues to work.
