I bought this mouse for the color, which is very vibrant and looks great on my desk. However, I am very disappointed with the quality of the mouse. After using it for about 8 months, the shiny, clear finish is rubbing/scratching off with no real cause. Since its appearance is the big draw of this mouse, it's unfortunate that it's degrading so quickly.
Also, I was not expecting the mouse to glow, and periodically flash, so brightly, even when not in use. I am posting a picture of the mouse in the dark so that you can see how bright it is before you buy it. I found the bright light annoying at night.
Overall, I also wouldn't recommend this mouse for daily use the way I have been using it. It only has the two buttons and a scroll wheel, which is pretty stiff, so it doesn't have a lot of features or comfort to offer. It would probably be more practical and usable as a travel mouse, since it is too small for most adults' hands, and it wears out quickly. Get more detail about Saitek Notebook Optical Mouse (Pink).
