This is a nice macintosh bluetooth mouse. As one reviewer pointed out, by default its settings on a MacBook are very sensitive, but that is easy to fix: go under System Preferences/Keyboard and Mouse, and decrease the tracking speed (I've got it set to 3, which is still pretty sensitive, but by the time you get down to 1 it is very slow, if you prefer).
As an optical mouse, it works great on our desk-- the last (wired) optical mouse I had needed a mousepad or it tended to skip around a lot, but this one tracks with no problems at all without a mousepad.
I've left it on quite a bit, and the rechargeable batteries haven't run down yet. You can plug it into the USB port on the Mac, and recharge it while you are using it, if it runs down, so I hope to save money on batteries.
One other thing: I use VMWare, and had my bluetooth turned off. I was not able to turn on bluetooth (because VMWare had control of it) until I shut down VMWare; then I could turn the MacBook's bluetooth on, and then install the mouse per the instructions (which is easy, and works the same as other mac devices).
This bluetooth mouse also works under Windows. Get more detail about SMK-Link VP6151 Rechargeable Bluetooth Notebook Mouse (White).
