As a Mac user, I needed a 3-button mouse for working in 3D applications, and Logitech's optical mouse was perfect. It's very hard to find a mouse with a software-recognized middle button these days, but the Logitech, with the button built into the scroll wheel, seems to work very well, where other similarly-configured mice I tried did not. After owning one for about 5 months the cable from the front of the mouse began to short so i would lose connection for s few seconds and hear the "Sol-Do" usb unplugging sound. Then after a few seconds you would hear the "Do-Sol" connecting sound and it would work again. I really think this has to do with my play style though, really low sense and i flick a lot. Although i had a hard time proving it (using test)this mouse just felt really inaccurate. No matter what settings i used i could not give it a natural 1:1 feel. It felt like it added small amounts of acceleration either positive or negative when you use flick shots. As that was not enough i noticed my accuracies fall quite a bit.
Since then i have switched to the death adder my rail accuracies have improved again. From about 50% to about 65% some games hitting 80%-85% =p So I can say that I strongly feel that it was due to the mouse's inconsistencies. I have also heard many other fellow quake live players (a few pros too) complain about this mouse.

For the price they are asking I do not think it is worth it at all.

Overall, I've been extremely happy with this mouse. I'm working on my 2nd one (but probably have to get a third one soon). What I like is how easy it is to take on trips because it's so small. I like that it's Bluetooth so I usually don't need to use the USB cord. The driver it comes with is very good since it lets me map anything (including the click-drag operation) to the right button and scroll button. As small as it is, I was concerned that it would be difficult to use or make my hard tired, but I haven't seen that at all.

The problem I've seen is that this is the 2nd one where the sensor that's supposed to shut it off automatically and save the battery isn't reliable, and it runs the battery down quickly. A problem that just started with this one is that the left button has just started sending a double-click instead of a single click about 40% of the time. I bought the Radtech BT600 to replace a wireless Apple Mighty Mouse. The scroll ball had become unresponsive, and I can't live without scrolling. The scroll wheel on the Radtech BT600 worked well, but nothing else did.

First of all, the Bluetooth connectivity is spotty. I haven't had a single connectivity issue with my Apple keyboard or Mighty Mouse; they've been connected to my iMac for over a year and neither has ever dropped a connection. The BT600 loses its connection frequently, and sometimes will refuse to reconnect indefinitely. (In fact, its refusal to reconnect is what drove me to pull out the old Mighty Mouse, broken scroll ball and all, and chuck the BT600 in a drawer.)

Even when there isn't a connection problem, the mouse will stop responding if the pointer is dormant for more than a few seconds. I'll have to shake it around a little bit to "wake it up." Sometimes this isn't a problem, though; instead, the pointer will jump crazily around the screen even when I'm not touching the mouse at all. This will happen while the display is asleep, waking up the display and leaving it awake until I notice and come to shake the mouse around a little (or power it off). If the computer is in sleep mode, the mouse will not wake the computer unless I shake it and click wildly for about 30 seconds. (I'd started just using the keyboard to wake the computer up.)

The left and right buttons feel rickety and clicks don't always register, the middle button (the scroll wheel button) is too stiff, and the two side buttons are so awkward to reach that I've never bothered with them.

The rechargeable battery is nice, as is the option of plugging the mouse in via USB, but the batteries on my Mighty Mouse run down so slowly that this isn't much of an advantage. I'd rather replace the batteries every three months or so than have the ability to recharge them.

This was the only Bluetooth mouse I've seen aside from Apple's Mighty Mouse, and that's why I bought it. Even though I don't like the Mighty Mouse, this one is far, far worse. This mouse is awesome. As a person that uses digital art programs, I have wanted to utilize programs like blender and wings 3D. Product arrived home on time, and solved the issues I had with two previous optical mouses, that had me crazy with a dissapearing/jumping pointer all over my 24" monitor (even though I tried different mouse pads and a mate piece of paper...)
There's no CD-ROM or much else besides the mouse, but I do actually prefer it that way, as it's truly plug-and-play. Why waste money in drivers and manuals for something so simple?

I'm very happy with reaction time and speed, and obviously with the price, as I thought about a wireless mouse for a long time, but couldn't justify the higher entry-fee, especially after reading many negative comments related to wireless models (from various manufacturers in both RF & Bluetooth tech) about quality, warranty terms, reaction-speed, incosistent performance, longevity and annoying extra-feature-related software.

Like the other reviewer, I am getting that chirping or rather scraping sound which undoubtedly is a result of something scraping against the surface of another part. (except in my case it started the first day) Even if it functions fine this really is annoying and not even worth the $17 sale price I paid for it - something like this should be priced cheaper to move. IF anything I would only recommend this for light use systems or else chances are it WILL get on your nerves. Since this is clearly have gone a consistent issue I thought it was worth another review rather than just a comment. Maybe I will donate it to the Audubon society or something. On the other hand, it does seem very (too?) sensitive by how it tracks the smallest movement.

After pulling up the left side of the piece of plastic that covers both buttons the sound seems to away - at least for now. It's not too big of a deal considering you have to open up the lower part for the batteries anyway - but I did have to pry it with a flat screwdriver.

Chirping is back, though not as bad.... Also MAYBE this has a power saving feature, but I have had to reset it because it doesn't wake up right away. Needless to say it doesn't work well if that's really what it is.

We bought this mouse to use in the bedroom as we watched movies from the PC. It did not work at all from about five foot away from the receiver plugged into the front of the PC (same height as the TV and bed). We used a USB extension and dragged it over the bed to right beside the mouse and still had trouble since you have to basically be on top of the receiver. All that work and you can only move about a foot away from the tip of the receiver before it stops working. If you want a laptop mouse that you will be extreamely close to the plugged in part, this would work great. I had first model of this battery-free mouse, and was happy with it, but it weared out after few years (although still works). After that I had expensive Microsoft Wireless Laser 8000, but didn't like it, so I decided to buy this one.

Now I can tell I like this mouse as much, as I liked first one. The only problem is that software is not fully customizable, so you can't assign arbitrary key sequences to mouse clicks, but otherwise it's ok.

The mouse itself is convenient to me, additional buttons location is not bad, although could be better. Mouse seems to be a bit heavier than first battery-free model, but still acceptable and noticeably below other wireless mouses (with batteries). Main two buttons seems to be not fully thorough, but better than many cheap mice (i.e. cheaper geniuses).

Just remember mani fact about this mouse before buying: this mouse IS wireless, but its pad is usb-wired.
