I bought the router months ago because my very old D-Link router drops the connections from time to time. This Linksys WRT54G2 model is very light and good-looking. The power supply can be 110V-240V, which means it can be used all over the world. I use the router to connect my 3 thinkpad laptops at home. The wireless connection breaks occasionally with my R40e laptop. For the other two better machines, the connections are pretty stable. The wireless speed is what I expected. The configuration is easy after browsing the PDF manual.
Some users complain that they can never finish the setup procedure successfully. At the beginning I also met some trouble in running the setup wizard. Then I figure out the reason. The key is that, before running setup wizard, you have to make sure that your computer has been connected to your modem successfully. Then everything will become very simple. If this is the reason for most unsuccessful setup, maybe they should put it onto the brochure.
