I purchased this product based on the previous reviews, and was not disappointed. I had a cable modem already wire-connected to my desktop and wanted a wireless connection to my laptop. The setup was super easy. Four items came in the box; the router, the power cable, the connecting cable and the manual/CD. I followed the instructions as stated in the manual and had it running in about 10 minutes! I've had this for about a month now and have not noticed any problems. The router is set up in one of the bedrooms and I've used the laptop in the garage with no problems. A techie gave me the advice to keep the interconnecting doors of the house open for better reception...I'm not sure if this holds true, but I'd recommend trying it for anyone having problems.
