I've been using this mouse for just over a year now with my Dell Precision M4300. Paid $60 at Office Depot so I got had on the price, but I've been very happy with the mouse.

Pros:
- I have relatively large hands so it felt a bit small at first (I use a large trackball at my desktop), but I don't even notice the small size now. Very comfortable.
- The buttons have a nice "click" feel when you press them. Not too harsh, but not the mushy feel that is typical of a lot of mice.
- Scroll wheel also has a nice feel to it.
- Quality build. The device feels very well built. I've beat the %#^$ out of mine and it's still doing just fine.
- Battery life is solid. I can get several months out of a set of AAA's . . . and I have the very bad habit of leaving the mouse turned on when I put it away.
- Not needing a USB receiver has proven to be a much bigger deal than I thought it would. It's amazing how liberating it is not having to worry about an extra piece of hardware.

Cons:
- The Bluetooth connection doesn't include any type of security setting so you have to open up your Bluetooth port security in order to use it. This was very poorly documented in the user instructions. I eventually had to find out how to get it linked via a user forum. I'm not a security expert so I don't know how vulnerable I've made myself by opening up my Bluetooth port (especially given the number of airports I find myself in), but so far no issues.
- In contrast to the comment I made before about the mouse being small, the mouse is a little bulky to fit in a slim briefcase. However, I haven't been able to find any better alternatives that don't sacrifice other features that I consider critical (comfort, mostly).

What can i say, this is the best mouse I've owned.

Appearance: The appearance is just great... its pretty sleek and as soon as you see it you know its a quality product. Every single spot that lights up lights up well no dark spots or dim spots at all. Another thing that caught my eye was the cable that connects to your pc, the material that covers the cable is not plastic, best way I can describe it is that its made of the material your shoe laces are made of which is pretty nice.

Feel: The feel is amazing, as soon as you put your hand on this bad-boy you feel the comfort. Its covered in a rubbery material that is soft and allows you to position your fingers quite well. The button placement is just right too since its easy to press all the 12 buttons on the side of mouse and if you use the trainer stickers they provide its even easier. However, the 2 button to the left of the left clicker are quite hard to press and in my opinion they are totally unnecessary.

Performance: 5,600 dpi.... enough said. I mean if you are the type that likes a sensitive mouse then you got it... if you like a less sensitive mouse, well you got that too. I can easily say this mouse if for everyone since you can adjust the performance. When it comes to games this thing is quick, I've tested it on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and it performs like no other I've also tested it on World of Warcraft and the mouse itself makes the game a lot easier since you can press your quick buttons with the 12 buttons on the side.

Drivers: Simple to install and a lot of driver support. You see all you need to do is go to the razer site and download the drivers. They have firmware as well as the operating system drivers over there, and if it wasn't enough there is even a World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online add on packages.

Overall: I recommend buying this mouse, its worth every buck. You wont be disappointed, at least I know I'm not.

I recently replaced my Netgear MR814V2 (802.11b) with the WRT54G2. Even though I am reluctant in a bad economy to replace a functional piece of equipment, it seemed too slow, especially after recently getting an iPod Touch (802.11g). Indeed, once I purchased the WRT54G2 my wireless performance to my Touch, wireless laptop, and Wii improved significantly.

In addition to the improved performance, this router also has improved MAC address filtering. Because of circumstances I am unable to rely on password encryption so I instead rely on MAC address filtering, which means unless you have a specified identifier in the router, you can't gain a connection. The old router only allowed 4 devices under this method, so if someone came to visit who needed wireless, I had to delete an existing device to give them access. No problem with this router - it allows at least 20 devices access under this access method. No need to fight with passwords either!

In terms of the setup, it's plug and play. For the "Dummies" crowd the software walks you step by step the sequence of connections. You probably don't need to do this if you're experienced but I did it through an "abundance of caution." Everything worked great! I didn't set up passwords but it looked like the software would have walked me through that too, which is great.

I liked the footprint, even though it ended up being larger than the old device. I have a cramped wiring box for my phone, cable, and internet, but this fit fine. Not having the antenna (or its optimal orientation) to worry about is an added bonus and I have seen no relative degradation by placing the metal lid over the wiring box.

Overall I am happy with the device, although I think the price is a bit high. My Touch wireless is functional and updates to the Wii software don't take years anymore! Many of the improvements listed here may be standard, I don't know. Can't beat the ease of installation. Run the CD, plug up the router, click next a few times and bam, it's done. 5 minutes tops and that's counting unpacking the shipping box.

I'm able to run two VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) through it simultaneously and all day with zero problems from the router. Also able to surf from my backyard almost 100 ft away from the router and through three walls and a deck which means the range is great too.

Only drawback I notice (I've had the unit for a couple weeks now) is the amount of space it takes up on the desk. It's not a model you can stand up on a base and requires a 6x8" space on the desk (not including the room needed for the cable coming out the back). I don't believe it can be wall mounted. Good news is that there's no antenna sticking up from the thing and since it's maybe an inch high it's pretty unnoticeable if it's installed a waist level or above.

The Linksys WRT54G2 Router has been installed on my home computing system for two weeks, now, and I am very happy with it. It took three phone calls to Linksys techncal support with some problems in the process, but the final result was most satisfactory.

My ISP (Verizon) tech support recommended a Linksys Router, but did not specify a model. Some on-line research indicated that an early version of the WRT54G router was well-received, but the same model was changed (and less satisfactory) when a newer model was released. The G2 model that I found listed on Amazon was newer than, and apparently quite different from, the models covered in the reviews I read. I ordered it.

When it arrived, I discovered that the enclosed software CD was for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows VISTA -- NOT for the Windows 98SE system which was my primary internet-connected computer to which I would be connecting through Ethernet cable. So, before further unpacking the router or trying any installation, I called Linksys Tech Support. I simply wanted to ascertain if the router could be connected to/work on my Windows 98SE system. The tech support lady answered that yes, it could, and she proceeded to sort of step me through the installation. I was not ready to do that at that point, and the phone connection was rather bad (fading volume and the support agent had a pronounced accent which made it difficult for me to understand her). Therefore, I terminated that call.

When I got things unpacked and sat at my Win98 computer, I called again and got another agent. No communication problems this time. This agent proceded to ask me for the information required to install the router on my Windows 98 computer. We got much of the information (such as the IP address), but when she asked for the "IP Location" it scrolled off my screen and I could not get it. She said that was necessary to install the router on that computer, so we terminated the call at that point. I later recovered the information, including the "IP Location," and called back.

I got a third tech support person, and he simply and clearly stepped me through connecting and installing the router on my Windows 98 computer. The power supply can be 110V-240V, which means it can be used all over the world. I use the router to connect my 3 thinkpad laptops at home. The configuration is easy after browsing the PDF manual.

The first call to Linksys was WONDERFUL and temporarily things were running smoothly. Then my DVD player couldn't connect for software updates or Netflix. The 3rd person was WONDERFUL just like the 1st person had been and NEVER mentioned me paying for her support. Now everything is working perfectly and I am VERY pleased w/ all 3 products. My old Links wired router had the antennas so you had to allow for more room, although I liked its metal gray color equally as well as this black one. If anything goes wrong, I'll add an addendum.
